About Us

Our Story

The Howley family has been in the Honey business for over 35 years, so it’s only natural that the continuation of the family legacy is continued in the wine growing region of Finger Lakes, New York. My Granddad, Philip J. Howley famously known as Pat, started his own honey business in the mid-1980s with about 15 hives located on his friend’s farm in Scott’s Depot, West Virginia.

After his passing, there was no one to keep the family apiary, and it was eventually sold. Today, the legacy of the Howley Honey company has been restored in a new era with his grandson, Connor Howley, where our mission is to produce honey as close to the comb as possible.
